International Culture Team

ICT

The International Culture Team (ICT) is a dynamic team of international students, scholars, and their spouses, as well as, American students who have studied abroad and are eager to share about their culture or a culture they have lived in, through cultural presentations, demonstrations, cooking, displays, clothing, and performances.  ICT’s goals are to bring the world to our campus and community; break stereotypes; put not well known countries on the map; and develop a community that seeks to learn from each other.  American students who have not studied abroad, but want to make international friends are greatly welcomed on the team as well. Team activities can be found at ictevents.uark.edu and to request a presentation fill out the ICT Request Form.

The University of Arkansas campus celebrates International Women's Day on March 8th. The celebration recognizes women who strive to make positive changes in our world, in our country and in our community.

One way the university celebrates students and scholars is with the Women of the World photo gallery. Each year ICT partners with a photographer to have a photoshoot for international and American women. These photos are then printed and displayed at the University for students to see. Since 2013 ICT has been the main sponsor for this photoshoot. We are proud to share these photos with everyone and hope you celebrate with us next March!
